Pedro The Alpaca Is A Quirky Little Guy!
But he really just wants to have fun… and a little treat!
A photo I took of Pedro, the cutest little alpaca with a twinkle in his eye!
Pedro, the alpaca, is a little scamp and it was such a good experience to read an animal that actually lied to me! I didn’t know that could happen!!
In the first reading he told me he was the runt of the litter which didn’t sit well with me. Googling I found that there is a one in 10000 chance of an alpaca even having twins.
He also told me he came to Jess at six weeks old and I was doubtful when google said alpacas are weaned around six months old.
I took him to task for it and started the whole reading again. He said he was just being funny and mischievous.
So here’s what we came up the second time when I asked him to tell the truth with what he really wanted to say while he had this opportunity!
Pedro
I was born on a summer day a couple of years ago. I was a bit of a runt. At least that’s what my mother said.
She was a calm and matronly type. I weaned early and came to live with Jess. My mother didn’t come with me and for a while it made me sad.
Now I have friends that are sheep and Tina, another alpaca, who keeps me company and makes me smile.
So, you know I have a secret? I am prone to lie which is why Heather had to do this reading twice. I think she was on to me. Google apparently doesn’t lie.
I stretched the truth too far and it caused all sorts of problems for her I guess.
I get bored with nothing to do all day. Tina and I play a little but I find her bossy and she must have her own way. I may be small but I am no push over.
I do like to make up stories and I will listen all day if you tell me about how beautiful I am and scratch me under my chin.
I scratch on the fence post but it isn’t as good as a thorough brushing. I don’t get many of those.
I feel like I came a long way to get here but maybe it just seemed that way because I was a little scared and timid. I’ve come out of my shell a lot!
There’s really not much to say. We just hang out here all day. We care for the sheep but they ignore us and never seem to appreciate all the alert care we give.
We are far superior in temperament than a dog!
Don’t get tired with looking out for us. I know winter is challenging but a new season will come and as you dabble in my care your love will deepen for the quirkiness of who I am.
Kind regards to you.
Pedro
PS I touched base with Pedro just now to ask if everything here was accurate.
Pedro said this was all he wanted to say and did I think Jess would give him a treat for being a good boy and sharing?
I reassured him I would ask.

Jess comments:
Hilarious! I am not surprised that Pedro was a sneaky little guy. He seems to taunt me sometimes lol.
