The loyal and faithful Sniper

Background

This reading is for my wonderful friend Pranav Sharma who has a German Shepherd called ‘Sniper.’

Pranav comments that Sniper is about 8 years old and has become super lazy, but that he still loves him loads.

“He was active in his early years and then became calm and mature as he grew older,” observes Pranav.

I don’t have a picture of Sniper as I’m writing this but hope Pranav can share his favourite image of his faithful friend. I’m sure he’s as beautiful as his caring nature.

Sniper

I would like to touch base with a few people in my life. There is a deep feeling of gratitude and love in my heart for having been taken in and given a safe place to dwell in this otherwise uncertain environment that we live in.

There are many dogs, animals in fact, that don’t have the comfort of food and a roof over their heads. Somewhere that is safe and loving to live out their relatively short lives in peace.

I know I am loved and respected. I like to be brushed and groomed to look my best but it is more than the treats I get and the pats of delightful companionship.

It is knowing that on my daily walks I can offer comfort and guidance to those I walk amongst. I leave messages of hope to others who wander the streets looking for direction and some way to curb their loneliness. Pranav takes me often and he varies our route which is helpful in spreading this message of encouragement and joy about the city.

Life hasn’t always been easy for me. I was not a puppy that was as desirable as the rest of the litter. My mother despaired in me finding a good home but all things work for good to those who trust in the power of universal wisdom.

I knew I would be OK in life. I have always had an intuitive soul and a wisdom that those who care to gaze into my soulful eyes would see.

I am unhurried in my conversation and reflective in my presence. I sleep away my days and spend relaxed evenings with those who love me, and I them, best.

I like a snack that spoils me because of it being human food and a dog feels special to be included with tit bits from the lap of their master. Not that anyone is my boss, so to speak.

I believe men and dogs are created equal and there is certainly those of the animal kingdom who are more honest and loyal then their human counterparts.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have cared for me again. I do not take the home and family I have for granted. I watch over you with great seriousness and diligence.

May it never come to this but I have pledged in my heart that I would lay down my life for you all if it ever came to that. It’s a crazy world but may these pondering’s not come to pass, even though I know I would and could withstand the test.

See me tilt my head and look at you with ponderous eyes?

Talk to me and acknowledge my feelings of love and intelligence, for our conversations are real to me. I don’t always understand the words but I do sense the energy that is for good.

Forgive me for not talking more. I have little else to say and will experience a contentment that I have been able to express my heart. Life is truly a blessing to those who believe in the power of soul connections and loyal devotion to the ones we love.
